World Cerebral Palsy Day 💚

💚 October is recognized as Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month by more than 60 countries around the world.

Cerebral Palsy (CP) is a condition that affects muscle tone, movement, and motor skills, impacting the body’s ability to move in a coordinated and controlled way. It can also interfere with essential functions such as breathing, eating, speaking, and bladder or bowel control. Many individuals with CP also experience challenges with vision, hearing, or touch.

Cerebral Palsy is not a disease, but rather a group of symptoms caused by damage to the brain areas responsible for muscle control. Today, CP affects over 17 million people globally, and in Turkey, more than 6,000 babies are diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy each year.

At Çizgi Teknoloji, we wore green—the color symbolizing CP and the renewal of life—on October 6, World Cerebral Palsy Day, to raise awareness and show our support.

As part of our ongoing commitment, we continue to support SERÇEV (Association of Children with Cerebral Palsy) through our donation made in honor of our 26th anniversary and our participation in the Istanbul Marathon last November.
